History

Meghraj Machines was founded in 1960 as a proprietary firm by Mr. M. W. Lalchandani a brilliant mind in the field of Engineering and undertook design and manufacturing of special attachments, tooling, jigs, fixtures and special purpose machines.

In 1979 that Meghraj Machines was established as Meghraj Machines Pvt. Ltd. and entered the market for centrifugal pumps strengthening the company’s corporate standing. Mr. M. W. Lalchandani was instrumental in the design and development of a wide range of large sized pumps for industrial and general applications.

Mr. Arjun Thairiani joined the company in 1975 and took the company to new heights. Design of Horizontal Split Casing Pumps and Vertical Non-Clog Direct Motor Mounted Pumps was undertaken.

In 2008, the company started its Custom Manufacturing Division providing precision machining services to its customers. CNC machines were installed at the factory premises to facilitate this venture.

Experience and Achievements

“MM” pumps are being supplied to various Government, Semi-Government, PSU and Private organizations throughout India.

Our pumps are approved by Gujarat Water Supply & Sewerage Board, Engineers India Limited, Ordnance Factories, Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation Limited, U.P. Jal Nigam, Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited, Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation, Maharashtra State Electricity Company Limited, etc.

Custom manufacturing services are being provided to various Companies in India and Abroad.

Meghraj Machines Pvt. Ltd. is a SSI and NSIC registered firm and in 2004 was awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certification by URS.
